Fly Into Boca Raton for some Aviation Shopping

Hello aviators today’s post is dedicated to one of the best cities in Florida  Boca Raton. This city has many attractions including beaches, resorts, hotels, golf, and many shopping attractions. Florida vacations always involve time on the beach, and a multitude of relaxing beachfront activities are available. The calm, clear waters ensure that swimming is enjoyable year-round. Because Florida experiences over 300 days of sunshine per year, sunbathing on the beach is a popular vacation activity. Additional things to do in Boca Raton beach areas include volleyball, snorkeling, surfing, and parasailing. In the parks adjacent to the beaches and also throughout the city, bike-riding is a popular activity. (more…)

Fly Into Key Largo and The Florida Keys Spearfishing Company

Hello Aviators today’s day trip takes us back to the Florida keys in the beautiful Key Largo. Florida Keys Spearfishing Company is located in Key Largo and Islamorada Florida (Florida Keys).  They offer full service spearfishing charters and spearfishing training.  They are the only  shop that offers a PADI endorsed spearfishing specialty class.  Their captains and guides are seasoned spear-o’s and love what they do.

Not sure how to clean fish or don’t have fillet knives with you?  No problem.  Included in your spearfishing charter is the filleting of your catch.  Just take it to any local restaurant and have them prepare it for you.  It doesn’t get fresher than that!

If you’ve always wanted to try the sport of spearfishing or even if you’re a seasoned spear-o, come join us for truly awesome spearfishing experience.

Known as the “Spearfishing Guy” in Upper Keys, Eric is a PADI Master Instructor, US Coast Guard Captain, Spearfishing TV host and Author.  Wanting to offer a conservative minded approach to teaching spearfishing, he wrote the PADI specialty “Underwater Hunter”  and “The Spear-fisherman’s Guide to the Upper Keys”.  He is an advocate of safe, ethical spearfishing practices and preaches this throughout his course.

Eric is also a soldier in the fight for protecting sharks, coral reefs and all endangered ocean resources.  The combination of his spearfishing knowledge and conservation advocacy makes his charters not only exciting but enlightening.
