Make plans now to join Friends of Arcadia Airport for the 2nd Annual Rodeo Weekend Fly-In/Camp-Out. This great 3 day “Special Event Weekend” has it all. Fly in anytime on Friday & pitch your tent in our new camping area.
Saturday March 14:
Attend “The Grandaddy Of ‘Em All!” the 87th Annual All Florida Championship Rodeo with special discounted tickets offered by Friends courtesy of the Arcadia Rodeo Association for pilots and their passengers. This is a world class Rodeo and will be sold out early. Transportation will be provided to the Rodeo Grounds and back to the airport.
Last years 1st Annual Fly-In/Camp-Out was a huge success by all accounts. So do not miss this one.

Fly In Rodeo Tickets:
Reservations in advance are required. There is no rain date as the Rodeo goes on Rain or Shine. Ticket price will include transportation to and from the Rodeo grounds. Friends must have your email reservation by March 6th and check payment by March 11th to reserve your special Rodeo tickets. ( If there is bad weather predicted you may email us and cancel by March 10th, we can probably manage to sell your tickets and refund your money. No guarantees. )
Friends will not make any money on your Rodeo tickets but we have to make good on the payments to the Rodeo Association for these special price tickets. This Rodeo is usually sold out in advance.
NOTE: Pilots and their passengers that Fly-In & Camp-Out will get first dibs on the 50 tickets we will have available. So reserve early.
Fly-In/Camp-Out only:
Weekend reservations w/o Rodeo tickets: We would appreciate you making a reservation by March 10th to just join us for the
“Fly-In/Camp-Out” even if you do not attend the Rodeo so we can plan for meals and other things. There is no charge for this.
Things to bring:
- Airplane tie downs
- Tent and camping gear
- Snacks
- Musical instrument
- Folding chairs
Don’t forget, we must have your check payment by March 10 to reserve your special Rodeo tickets.
Make check payable to Friends of Arcadia Airport for $15 per ticket, this includes cost of transportation to Rodeo & back.

The next All you can eat Pancake Breakfast is Saturday January 24th at 9 am. at Arcadia Municipal Airport ( X06 ) If you fly in and do a low pass over the runway prior to landing the PIC gets his breakfast FREE! Future breakfasts will be on Feb. 21st. , March 14 and April 18.
