Join Ridge Landing’s Residents as they take off in their personal air crafts to Lakeland, Florida for the 40th annual international fly-in and expo. We can’t believe that for 40 years now, flight enthusiasts and pilots have joined together at the same airspace to share their passion for aviation with each other. It began with a small group of aviators that wanted to join together every year and hold a “fly-in,” little did they know that it would soon become an “International Fly-In & Expo.”
Interested In Attending The Fly-In & Expo? While there are a ton of events that will take place over the course of five days, but there are some that will almost guarantee your attendance. If you are at the show make sure to come visit us at Hangar A, Booth 21.
SUN ‘n FUN International Fly-In & Expo
April 1st – April 6th
So, what’s the schedule for annual fly-in and expo look like? There are some events that take place every day of the expo, such as:
• Visiting the Florida Air Museum
• Parts Exchange
• Daily Air Show
• Daily Fly-By’s
• Youth Workshops & Activities
However, there are also events that are exclusive to one day, and we’re going to break those down for you as well – although the website for SUN ‘n FUN has all the information we have not provided for you. So, let’s break these can’t miss events down day-by-day.
Fun Florida Aviation Activities
Now, from Tuesday, April 1st to Sunday, April 6th you can participate in so many exclusive events that include, but are by no means limited to,
• FEDEX Boeing 727 Tours
• Tampa Bay’s Food Truck Rally
• Nightly Entertainment Series (different guest speakers each night)
• Seaplane Splash-In Competition and Fly-By
• Air-Force Enlistment Ceremony
While there are so many events that will take place over the course of five days, do you want to know what one of the best parts will be? Obviously, seeing an air-show performance by the U.S. Navy’s infamous Blue Angels. So, if you’re in town – or even if you’re not – hop in your plane or car and head to the Lakeland, Florida for the 40th anniversary of the SUN ‘n FUN Fly-In & Expo!
